Newly Developed Treatments for Acute Lymphoblastic and Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Chemotherapy has been dominating the field of cancer treatment for a long time, however, its limitations have revealed over time. Therefore, several antigen proteins and chimeric receptorT cells (CAR-T) involved in immunotherapy acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) myeloid (AML) introduced. This paper provides details on mechanisms, implemented investigations, drawbacks ALL AML. Current studies shown that CAR-T cell therapy can eliminate pediatric relapse along with treating B ALL. With appearance therapy, especially CD19-, CD20-, CD22-directed cells, aggressive lymphomas involving become treatable. Studies also AML be treated FLT3 inhibitors including monoclonal antibodies (mbA) CD33-, CD123-directed cells. Anti-CD33 combine calicheamicin, cytotoxic agent DNA strand cleavage, monotherapy gemtuzumab ozogamicin (GO), an antibody-drug conjugate, this combination proved to extend overall survival both newly patients R/R who are unable tolerate standard chemotherapy.
